In the sun

It was a cold but beautiful, sunny start to the day. I was up at 5 am and surprised how light it was already. No chance of having a cuppa outside though as the decking was like an ice rink and it was below 0 degrees.
The birds were really enjoying the sun , especially the pheasant, one of the reasons I was up so early ! However it did nt last long and again we had some very heavy hailstorms. When I looked out I saw the Dolphin boat speeding back to Avoch, I felt sorry for these who had been on the trip and little did I know that on board was my friend Sally and her family, I think she'll remember her trip to Scotland :) It has certainly been a wild week.
Went down to see Sally this evening to plan our adventure day tomorrow. Please let the sunshine:))))
