End of an era

Had another good walk round the campus this morning in the sun before another round of cloud and rain (at least no snow today!). Slightly worse for wear sign on one of the hills.
Hid in a corner of the conference centre and got on with some very tricky emails in the morning undisturbed - apart from a poor blackbird flying straight into the window right in front of me and falling comatose on the path. Luckily after about half an hour he woke and stood up  but hadn't flown off again by the time I left him
Nipped into some talks before a long (and also tricky!) meeting, then a final AGM for me - that's the end of my involvement as an official for the society.
Gala dinner tonight then heading further south tomorrow - nearly baby cuddling time!
