Today's Visitor
Yesterday evening our central heating system started making a devil of a noise and the radiators got cold. Upon checking I discovered that the ball valve on the header tank in the loft had stuck in the shut position and the system had not been fed with water to replace the natural losses, but had drawn in air, causing the pump to become very noisy. I decided that I could not do much at that time, but would check over the system this morning, bleeding each radiator in turn, after having freed the valve for the header tank. Completion of this process has taken up all of the morning and a couple of hours of the afternoon.
Today’s blip is of one of our regular visitors, Hoppy, a Reeves Muntjac with a severely damaged left fore leg, which can be easily seen in this picture.
