South Queensferry

We drove through to South Queensferry this morning to meet up for lunch with our Fifer friends.  We had a lovely lunch and a long chat, and a bit of a stroll around this lovely wee town, taking photos naturally.  In the picture at the bottom, if you look closely you will see the three bridges, the Forth Bridge at the front, then the Forth Road Bridge, and at the back the Queensferry Crossing which is being built and should be open some time this year.

We had sun, but also some sleet.  I hear the Tomintoul road is closed due to snow!   Ah Scotland!
