Or perhaps passing. This shower was actually marching down the Ayrshire coast this afternoon as we arrived in Toward; there were others clearly visible as we walked before the big one arrived just as we headed back to the car. A strange day - the showers in Dunoon were of tiny balls of snow, rather like bits of expanded polystyrene, while further south they were merely rain. And the temperature, according to the car thermometer, went from 11ºC in the sunshine to 4ºC with a frost warning under the rain/snow/polystyrene.

Can we have some balmy weather soon, please?
