The school held an art show this afternoon, where parents had the opportunity to buy their child's masterpiece. Framed and mounted, the art all looked more impressive than you might expect (this didn't stop one little girl pointing out her painting to her mum saying, "see? I told you it was rubbish.") 

George, not unexpectedly, was unimpressed by the whole thing, refusing to come along. He doesn't even like the picture. But it was when he pointedly ignored Mo and me in the playground that we decided we'll give his painting pride of place...in his bedroom.
