There years ago today this skinny hound was first spotted at the rescue centre after a narrow escape from being put to sleep, and it was love at first sight.

She has a new collar to celebrate - I am not sure she is all that impressed - and will have minced beef for her tea - which I think will be altogether more to her liking. 

We cannot imagine life without her. Living with clean carpets would be so dull. Lizzie, you are a gentle, loving, daft, lazy, beautiful, loyal, stubborn and faithful companion - wouldn't swap you for all the pugs in China.
