Horizon

Once again I find myself in Santa Pola (Spain) looking out to sea. In the distance is Isla de Tabarca and I have been here for 10 days replacing the cutlass bearing on my 34 foot sailing boat in advance of our planned departure in April.

My anxiety was soon behind me when I arrived at the boat yard to find her exactly as we left her and all the work went according to plan. I can sleep soundly again and am back on track.

We awoke one morning to this view and I just had to borrow a camera to capture this shot.

Makes me long for more and the sound of the sea as we sail away into the sun....can't come quickly enough now.
