Monumental

Monument to Emmelio II was our first stop today - many Italians do not like this building as it does not blend in with the other buildings - it is nicknamed "the typewriter" or "the wedding cake". Went right up to the roof - not good for my vertigo, but fabulous views. On to the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navonna and the Pantheon. Wow, these guys certainly knew how to build!
