Suffering for one's art

A colleague's wedding in Edinburgh and an opportunity for us all to don our finery.

If I had been wearing these I'd have been 6'4" so chose to stick to a more demure heel.
Interestingly, these shoes were whisked off by my friend's husband after the meal and replaced with a lower version and I believe Uggs were there for the final journey home.

A good night; whoever invented the concept of bacon rolls for the evening reception guests at weddings these days should be warmly applauded.
