Harlaw

Erected in 1911 to mark the battle at Harlaw between the lowlanders and the highlanders. Apparently no one won. I guess that's war for you.

On a chirpier note the sun is out today so I'm getting in the burgers for a sneaky BBQ. Unfortunately Amelie fell asleep on the way to the shops so I'm stuck in the car until she wakes up. Hence my detour to this monument.
