St Kitts

So today we had a formal breakfast in the Grande which is the really posh restaurant it was lovely breakfast swilled down with a mimosa.

The ship docked a little later today around 11am so we decided when we got off to have a tour of the island, the driver took us around the whole of the island, starting with the capital Basseterre, very small considering it was the capital. We carried on around the island passing though villages which were really small and houses were painted all different colours. We then stopped at some tropical gardens and had a walk around which is today's blip photo. Also on the tour we came across a monkey which is an additional picture he was so cute and was wearing a nappie. We also stopped at a viewing point to see the volcano and also tried sugar Caine, I wasn't too impressed it was to much hard work to eat. Then it was back in the taxi to finish off the tour.

Once we had finished the tour me Gem, Claire and Stu headed over to the "strip" which is supposed to be a lively beach area there were lots of beach bars but not very busy and when we went in the gift shop the lady was basically giving items away because she said it's no longer lively! After the beach it was back to the port for a bit of shopping before back on the ship for sail away. No more stops now until NYC the final destination.
