Settling In

Second day on Stelvio and it's going ok. Very odd to be snapping away so many fotographs, but it's good fun. Most people seem to appreciate a foto of their day on the mountain pass. A few people don't, but then just back up the fotos and delete it.

I now call these photographs - fotos. There is nothing remotely artistic about them and there are few award winning photos in this lot. This is merely memento photography (as I've called it - it probably has a name...). I am the human tripod.

A few people have suggested that I just mount the camera on a tripod and motion sensor a foto which is kinda annoying if I were honest - because that's not even a "foto" and I do have some criteria to the shots laid down by the local council - I'm not just standing here - I have permission to stand here. None of these shots are outstanding but I do have some idea of quality.
