Deer In A Ditch

Absolutely bitterly cold here in Essex with hail and snow showers. I went for an evening walk at Lodge Farm and the cold, bright light was beautiful (extras) though I was glad of my winter coat, scarf and gloves. It is always windy here but today an icy blast was whipping up the valley. A herd of deer in the distance had hunkered down in a ditch to escape it.
