Cloudscape

What an interesting weather day its been today.  Lots of lovely clouds about, some fluffy and some dramatic.  Took Misty to Caldbeck Common this afternoon for a walk and to see the clouds and weather fronts moving around.  Lots of hailstone showers too but we managed to stay dry.  Today's blip was taken on the Keswick to Caldbeck road and I liked the shape of the cloud above the straight road.   I can see a face in the cloud too :)  There's also a photo of Skiddaw in Extras.

An amazing story on the news just now about a border collie who happens to be a Misty lookalike, who ran away from his new home on a farm in Cockermouth back to his old farm in mid Wales some 240 miles away and he did it in 10 days!  

The gold finches are going mad for the nyger seed at the moment.  I counted 20 this morning, two on the feeder and the rest on the ground.
