Friends...

and egg custards

work has gotten silly busy hence my lack of commenting

BUT this is not an emergency Blip

18 years ago when work was "fun" Paula came to work for the team I was on

she had never worked in an office but apparently I adopted her and made sure she was included in my "legendary" pub trips and office meals

another member of the team had type 2 diabetes but had built a regular egg custard into his diet (as well as a pint of bitter in two half pint glasses)

egg custards came in packs of two so one of the team also had to eat one on those days

Paula retires this week I can't be there on her last day but she gave me an egg custard and we remembered friends from those days
