Cowslips....

Wildflowers are having a tough time of it in the countryside as farming methods push them to the sidelines. This is bad. In the big towns and cities they are doing well in parks and gardens. These are Cowslips, once a common Spring flower in the countryside, they are relatives of Primroses. This patch was in a local park and was just a few of a huge number of them where the grass met the shrubs.
