A days leisurely walking around Hawes. On the drive in we stopped for a ten minute wander up to Cotter Force and spotted a nuthatch and dipper.

After six miles through meadows and along tracks we were back in Hawes for mid afternoon and the fish and chip shop was still open.  I can recommend the chips …….. crispy on the outside and soft inside. No mention of diet this week. 

Still sunny when we got back to the cottage so it was another session relaxing in the garden with a glass of wine. I was rather surprised to spot a garden visitor. We knew there were some about because of the little mounds of earth but never expected to see one. Got four shots before it disappeared underground and I’ve put one in extras.
