Looks passive but.....

.... it had just eaten a duck!!

Watched this heron on the bank but it then lept into the water and then back to the bank with something in its beak. I was a fair way away but when I enlarged the shots I managed to get it looked to have grabbed a duck and swallowed it down in one gulp.
