The yellow peril...

Back to normal today - identifying specimens from the weekend, entering data, taking Ben to Stamford and catching up with the food shopping. This was a quickly snatched photo taken while I was having a drive round the Stamford area while waiyting for Ben- it was so cold and showery that I didn't fancy a walk!

I have mixed feelings about the start of the flowering season for rape - I used to hate the sheets of yelllow but now its become an integral part of spring. But I do find that rape pollen is one of the few things that triggers a mild form of hay-fever, so that's not so good!
