Sisters

She's home, she's in her favorite chair, she is smelling the spring air and feeling the warmth of sun and feeling so very grateful. A week ago to the day things were very different. I thank God I am sitting here across from her, a place we always sit and chat and just be. She has a bit of an uphill battle with a six week recovery ahead of her, but at this moment she is doing well. I am so proud of her. We are beyond words and full of emotion with the gratitude we feel for all the prayers, love, thoughts and well wishes. I don't think at this moment I would want to be any where else in the whole wide world but sitting here right across from her.
