I have decided to ignore the hurricane winds and snow fleeing by my window and concentrate instead on something altogether more calming.

Limpets and barnacles on rock (rock btw for those who need to know was imported here from Norway - granite I think... not that I'm being particularly literal with it here) dumped on my beach to protect the headland from erosion. Prollies just as well with weather like today.
