Shattered
Oh my giddy Aunt! It's been SUCH a day.
Me 'n Little Ern wasn't allowed to go out, on account of there were ever so many really big men erecting scaffolding on the side of our house, on account of the birds are eating it. The house, not the scaffolding,.
I know it sounds improbable, because your regular birds don't eat houses. But we live in an area of house eating birds. Yes, we do. Further more the government says we can't do anything about getting rid of them. Not that HE or SHE would want to do that, because they are lorikeets and rosellas.
They have chewed away at the wood and made a right mess. Luckily it's an insurance job. If it was rats it wouldn't be covered, but because it's Government protected birds it is covered. Whew!
Then when all those really big men went home, another really big man came and started to trim the oak tree which has got out of hand.
Hey, what would happen to me if I got out of hand?
