Tiny Tuesday . . . Timble

Cotton threads silk strands
Seamstress nimble fingers fly

Slowly I am going through areas of the house and having a clean out.  In a drawer I found this little thimble.  I think the mother in law meant it to be handed down to my daughter.  Unfortunately I don't remember who it came from.  I should have written this information down.  I am an avid Game of Thrones watcher and Series 6 stared last night.  When I see the costumes worn by the characters I wonder about how clothes were manufactured before the industrial age.  I think little thimbles may have been involved.
