A Checkered history
A beautiful day, warm and sunny but we headed off to Skibbereen - Himself to do his art course and me to deliver cards to a garden centre and do a bit of exploring. Fatal taking anything to a garden centre for I came back with a boot full of enticing shrubs. The exploring was less successful without my navigator, for the roads were minute and so many of them and eventually my sense of direction vanished altogether and the quadruple ballaun stone I was after remained elusive.
Anyway, I can't resist this empty and abandoned shop in Skib, those amazing tiles.
And son# has his photo gracing the cover of the Big Issue North - pretty wonderful in my unbiased opinion. Edit: son#2 took the photo, that's not him teetering on the high wire!! Sorry, I was a bit vague there!
