Down by the River
I've been out for a very enjoyable walk organised by Corinthian Column and hubby this morning. We began in Bingley, walked along the canal to Dowley Gap where we switched to the River Aire Path and spotted several rowers out training in the, then, sunshine. Heading upwards to Shipley Glen and across the top of the glen was in lovely sunshine but still with a chilly edge to the temperature. From the Glen we crossed through the top end of Eldwick, across several fields and back down to Five Rise Locks just as the sky clouded over.
I'm looking out of the window now and wondering if I really want to get the lawnmower out. Paul the Weatherman is telling me that the afternoon is likely to be showery so it's now or never. Ooo chilly start tomorrow, it could be interesting walking on Penistone Moor!
