ANZAC Day.

The weather was rather cool today.  Unlike, a few years ago when it was so hot, soldiers were fainting at the parades.

It's also been very windy, and we've had a few showers of rain.

On my morning walk, I decided to go down a path I'd seen somebody else go down a few days ago.  It was a bit spooky, with a few bird sounds (I think!!) that I haven't heard before.

I made a lot of noise with my feet, just to warn off anything that might be lurking. 

Today is in memory of all those who've lost their lives over the last 100 years, in so many senseless wars.

Unfortunately, there seem to be more wars going on than ever before.  Mankind just does not seem to learn.
