ANZAC Day

I simply can not choose a photo today - please see extras!

We watched the ANZAC Day Parade today in Melbourne.  I loved that the veterans who were unable to walk started ahead of the parade and were driven in cars.....I admit I got a little teary!  I thought of my dad and how he always, until his stoke was part of the Remembrance Sunday parade in London for Bomber Command but he had to stop going because he finds it very difficult, together with other health matters, to walk.  I think London need to do similar to Melbourne.

After the parade Chris took me on his version of the Laneways tour....7k we walked!  We did stop and have some champers!

Back at the hotel now as we both have work to do.  Off out for dinner later
