Miss A's obsession

Despite Little D gnawing on her little brother, we were still invited to nursery Eva's 3rd birthday today. Thankfully it was a sunny day as it was being held in a local park. What a great idea - all you need are a few picnic rugs, some cake and the kids are happy as larry!

While Miss A and the other girls got chased by Eva's daddy, Little D decided to make his way onto the walkway to the slide. He seemed quite happy until he spotted a little girl sitting at the top of the slide. He tried to push her then yanked at her hair, not once but twice - he really had it in for this poor girl. I don't know what's going on with him at the moment, whether he's trying to find his place in the world or if this is normal boy behaviour but I almost feel like we have to cut off contact with the outside world until he learns some manners!

Miss A is obsessed with the girl next door, Rhona, who's 9. She spent the afternoon playing with her and asked her over for dinner, where she insisted Rhona feed her every forkful of food while trying to clamber onto her knee. Little D showed his affection by throwing sausages at the poor girl. It was all very exciting for Miss A and I'm sure this won't be the last dinner date - at least until Rhona tires of the attention from a 3 year old...
