Last day

with the professional archaeologists. They are never happier than when diving into holes in the heather as you can see.
It was also another day walking a group of interested locals (and an American and a Bulgarian!) around the area. By the end we now have survey plans of the two largest of our sites - useful and pretty drawings that hover somewhere between both science and art.
A final evening in the pub with farewell speeches and gifts exchanged along with pints drunk. I think that everyone has enjoyed - and benefited - from the visit.
