The Rutland Cicle

Today was the Rutland Cicle International Cycle race. We cycled up to Oakham for the start ( and much needed tea and cake - see extra of H  having a little bit of Paul's cake) and then criss-crossed the Rutland countryside catching up with the race at 3 more places. We also had time for a quick mooch in the sales area where I bought almost an entire base layer outfit in merino wool! . Other than getting to and from Oakham it was easy riding, but a long day. In total we did just over 70 Miles. On the tandem that was hard!

Home now, tired but fed and showered and  about to have a glass of beer in front of the telly!
