Rescue Helicopter

We got a message to say there was going to be a RNLI rescue exercise off Workington this afternoon. So off we went for a look. After a longish wait a helicopter arrived from Scotland (which can be seen in the distance) and landed on the Town Rugby ground. After hanging around a while longer we decided to come home and later found out the exercise didn't go ahead.
The picture shows the helicopter coming into the harbour mouth where the River Derwent meets the sea. It is at this point the C2C cycle route starts from the west coast to Sunderland on the east coast.
