Akin Free Library

About half an hour's drive from our house, just over the New York State line, is the charming community of Quaker Hill.  One of my favourite buildings stands proudly on the corner of Old Quaker Hill and Kirby Hill roads -- the Akin Free Library.  It was built between 1898 and 1908 in the Victorian eclectic style.  I love that over the top copper clock tower!
