So we arrive on the Isle of Skye, and what's the first thing we do with our first full day? We head back to the mainland... In our defence we supported a local community project (the Kylerhea to Glenelg ferry), and Sandaig is a fabulous little spot that we visited twice last year, but never got to see properly in the sun (and we even fitted in some Capturing Our Coast surveying...).

Making the most of everything before the weather closes in as the week goes on (though forecast keeps changing). And nice to get three otter sightings (well, two for me) on the first day, even if all of them were a bit distant and fleeting.

Big walking day planned for tomorrow...
