A Technical Conversation...

...on the workings of a coal-fired marine boiler.
This boiler is normally fitted to a model steam tug "Smokey" but was on a static display today for all to see at Wilton Park, Batley, at an open day of Kirklees Model Boat Club.  Lots of interesting model boats on the lake, lots of owners to chat to,  and, all in all, an enjoyable afternoon.   Fine and dry - but a very cold wind.
