Too much?!

Full on day and what a blast it was! Colourful Mai and I went to Mawgan Porth and The Modern Makers Craft and Design Fair at the Bedruthan Hotel. Gorgeous drive down in the sunshine and tea and cake on the veranda when we arrived! We wandered round the stalls admiring the wares and I bought a chicken! Plus a plate  with blue feathers and a bowl with blue cowslip - later EB's I think! They were made by a woman who actually lives in the village and whom Mai knows!
We then donned many layers and  went down to the beach and had the most delicious chips, and I had a toasted crab panini! Then joy of joys a Mr Whippy - although I have to say it tasted slightly medicinal and had the name Roskily so I'm not sure it was a Mr Whippy as the girl said it was - so the quest continues! We walked down to the sea, which was a long way out, and then walked back! I have no need to say we had been talking non stop since we set off from Calstock, and we continued to talk all the way back!
I had thought of having a snooze before setting out for theatre in the Village Hall - but by the time I had done my photos I only had an hour and decided it would do me more harm than good! So down to the village where Colourful Mai was waiting with a G&T for me! I took some photos of the blossom in the evening light then into the hall for a fun evening! It was  Le Navet Bete doing The Wizard of Oz - 4men playing the characters and a lot of license with the story! As the audience took their seats  Aunt Em wandered up and down the aisle allocating sections of the audience as her animals, and she inspected them all - singling out the men to pronounce them fine specimens and making them look flustered! Once all were seated the barn doors were shut and we all had to acknowledge we were in with clucking, quaking, mooing, baaing, oinking and bleating in turn! So the evening continued with much laughter and audience participation! The best part was when the lead characters did River dance with the Yellow bricks stuck to the soles of their shoes! At the interval I took more photos of the setting sun then back once more to witness 3 children and one of my friends husbands been called up to form the Flying Monkeys!
Finally home and much messing about with the laptop as first it needed disc space clearing and then it overheated and shut down on me! Having cooled it off in the conservatory and making sure it was actually working I closed it down and went to bed! Long, full, happy day! So many photos to choose from but as I haven't done a blossom blip it finally made the decision easy for me! The links above will show all the others if you want to see more of either event and the sunset!!!
