little ringed plover...

I went back to the reservoir with all the swallows and martins today for another watch. They were still there and I watched them for ages, both in the tree, and skimming over the water. They must be feeding up after their long journey back...a delight! The light was rubbish so my swallow and house martin are in the extras.

This little ringed plover zoomed in and landed as I was watching the swallows etc... Right in front of me too! :)
