Confusion

Thanks for admiring yesterday's potato. I hadn't had them before and didn't realise that they had a fantastic purple ring inside. Although they turn a bit brown with cooking, they're very very tasty.

The day started well, and the Old Bell fish and chips at lunch kept the momentum going. A long walk after work down to Leith Shore via Crombie's for sausages has highly rewarding, as was the pint in the King's Wark.

Considerable work was done between these things.

Dinner was a combination of the sausages, the shetland blacks and allotment broad beans and shallots, so to be honest, I'm feeling pretty smug all round. bit of a treat for the weekend too.
