the upper falls at Aysgarth

We'd arranged to meet Jane and Jason here today .  Over recent days the weather forecast had been for rain or cloud but it turned out so much better with lots of blue sky.. We walked and talked and Poppy paddled. 

A picnic lunch was followed by another wander then we headed back to the cottage to enjoy the afternoon sunshine in the garden with a glass of wine.
