Toronto Railway Museum
Below downtown Toronto, many nifty attractions can be found. The CN Tower, the SkyDome (Rogers Centre), and Ripley's Aquarium are the big ones. Another is the Toronto Railway Museum which is next door to all of these. One original roundhouse still stands on its original site. The other was demolished to make way for the SkyDome. The museum has a portion of the roundhouse and the lands around it that contains quite a few rail cars, locomotives, and other rolling stock. There are also a number of structures some of which can be seen above and a few others in the Extra Photos section.
Pictures above are two cabooses (the orange #79144 one was built in 1920 for the Canadian National Railway (CNR) and the red #70 was built in 1913 for the Toronto, Hamilton, and Buffalo Railway (date unknown). Also shown left to right are Cabin D (background), watchman's shanty (foreground), and Don Station (Don Valley, Toronto).
Extras: Cabin D, Don Station, and Roundhouse Locomotive.
