Trying its best

This plum tree pulled out all the stops today.
D baked two cakes.
We saw the hoopoe outside the back door - a bit of a dangerous place for it, but we saw it fly off intact.
We had a slightly longer walk but I forgot the memory card.
Poland is an unhappy place at the moment, so we should look for positive things...

Oh, and I got round to painting the rather over-twee drawers with some furniture paint. Even took the knobs off.
