Pedal on Parliament!

I was up bright and early to join the Portobello crowd for the annual Pedal on Parliament peloton to ask for a greater emphasis on safer cycling and more of it. You can tell there's an election on because there were many politicians in attendance, including the Minister for Transport, the leader of the Scottish Labour Party (who rode with us from Porty because she's standing in this seat), the leader of the LibDems and these two fine women; Alison Johnston MSP for the Greens and Sarah Boyack MSP for Labour. They both called upon the government to do more and got big cheers. I like it when parties work together.
