Drawing with lasers

Oh dear! how about this for a faux pas….I walked into a gallery opening this afternoon, got chatting to the artist, Jenny Smith, whom I had not seen for a number of years, looked at her work and exclaimed`; “I have a jacket in exactly the same pattern!”
 
Not surprisingly she was somewhat miffed at the comparison. How could I have been so tactless?
 
Jenny’s work invites us to redefine what we think drawing is.
She combines traditional drawing skills with the latest 
laser technology to create beautiful meditative, organic pieces more akin to sculpture than 2D work.
