Emergency Blip

No blip mojo - not much time either.  Woke too early and then the rest of the day is a bit of a blur.  Went through lots of documents, made phone calls, went to look at the house that my mum has rented out for the last couple of decades (interesting what a lecturer in plumbing does with the electrics - may blip some of his handiwork tomorrow when I go back with a camera), went up to the hospital, came back and did a bit of car parking politics (can you believe that someone, everytime they take their car somewhere, gets their motorbike out of the garage to 'reserve' kerb space? Means that my mum has to park a way away and stagger breathlessly back to her house. May blip that tomorrow - the parking manoeuvre not my breathless mum - so much choice!), turned down ridiculously low offer on house, organised getting a stair lift put in, another visit to the hospital, washed my hands and did the rubber gloves and plastic pinny routine yet again (don't know how hospital staff have any skin left on their fingers), more phone calls and then re-heated an unappetizing sludgy macaroni cheese that I made yesterday and opened a bottle of wine.  And relax ....... the rest of the day is my own.
