Walk

In just over 9 weeks it's Glastonbury festival. And I am not Glastonbury fit. Yet. (A fair amount of walking goes on)

So, this morning my friend Nicky arrived just after 8am to go on a little walk with me.

I took her along the canal and back in to town for coffee, just under five miles in total. We shortened the usual route I take and took a lane off the canal up to the A6, the lane took us under a viaduct, it was lovely. Now looking forward to showing Fenner the new route.

Just as we turned off the canal I took this photo of the canal bridge. The footpath over the bridge crosses a field and then up along a hedgerow and over the small hill. I must investigate further. Another day.
