Tail Issues

Wednesday was pretty typical in the work and school department.  I enjoyed visiting with a friend during Sugar's dance class, and then we headed home.  While Sugar worked on homework and a project, I went outside with my Velvet 56 to try to capture a pretty flower photo.  I'm still trying to figure out this lens.  The chickens found me, and were very curious.  These girls are always trying to figure out what we are doing.  Amber, pictured here in particular is very bold, and right up in everything.  That's why it doesn't surprise me that she is missing most of her tall tail feathers.  Not sure what happened...but pretty sure she started it.  I ended up liking this shot of Amber better than any of the flower shots.
