Sand, Water and Sky

It has been a typical April day; a bright sun, a chilly wind and sporadic showers, a scattering of hail amongst them. Lovely as long as you are well dressed and duck into the potting shed or the greenhouse every now and again when the heavens open.
After a relaxed start to the day I was out in the vegetable garden, digging over the ground, weeding and sowing seeds. I thought I was being pretty clever: I have gone at it quite gradually, just digging a few square yards each day and trying to remember to be sensible about posture and so forth. However by the end of the afternoon my back was very sore so I guess I have overdone it a bit. Time for a hot soak in a minute which will hopefully help!
