Perseus and Medusa, Trentham Estate

Finally made it to Trentham Estate today and enjoyed it thoroughly.

This fabulous statue of Persesus showing the the moment just after he had slain Medusa stands at the head of the lake. 

The sun behind the dismembered head was too much fun to ignore. I have had great fun in the processing using shadow recovery to bring the detail lost in the silhouette out, I do think he looks almost like a Marvel character with that dramatic sky behind.
