Supply ships waiting in the calm

There is always a gathering of oil rig supply ships waiting in the water outside Aberdeen harbour. They are like a herd of cows, on calm days they are scattered pointing in all directions, on windy days they all face the same way. Today they all looked very close to shore with the evening light, an optical illusion I am sure.
