Aussie Outback

A trip to Lake Fyans and Halls Gap saw us driving for quite a lot of the day, but it was definitely worth it. They were beautiful places to visit, and I loved the stark country we drove through.

I saw an original aboriginal rock painting, dating back to before the white men arrived in Australia. I saw herds (clans/schools/groups) of kangaroos in the wild. I saw an astonishing blue Lake in the middle of this dry country. But my favorite image of the day is this one of the "typical" landscape we passed through.

A great day. I'll definitely be revisiting this area.
